Cricket Nets - May Half-Term 2023

Terms of Booking

The outdoor nets at Golden Hill are available to book between 11:00 and 15:00 hours this half-term. Both nets are available to book and we ask that members do not book back-to-back sessions to ensure that the nets are available for as many people as possible during the half-term. REMEMBER: - Members under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult and may otherwise be asked to leave - No kit bags to be left on the artificial playing surface or within hitting range/direction of practice - Wear suitable footwear (i.e. rubber-soled non-marking cricket shoes or trainers, absolutely NO spikes) - Adequate protection must be worn when batting with a hard ball (helmet, box, pads, etc.) - No footballs, rugby balls or similar to be used in the nets. - A maximum of 6-8 participants will be permitted in each net Please ensure that the nets are left in the condition they were found in, with stumps left in the appropriate position and any rubbish removed and any damage to the nets or other club equipment or assets must be reported to the club immediately via e-mail to info@goldenhillsports.com. Anyone who observes unsafe behaviour or poor practices must report the matter to the Club Safeguarding Officer(s) via e-mail to safeguarding@goldenhillsports.com or 07719 353532.
