Boys Youth Cricket

Bristol YMCA Cricket Club is one of the largest clubs in the area with a well established Youth set up. We have a team at each age group from U10s to U16s playing for the Gloucestershire and Bristol youth cricket leagues. Our youth players are developed and encouraged to play adult cricket from the age of 13. We have five adult teams playing league cricket on Saturdays and a number of youth players play regularly, with a few talented players playing 1st or 2nd team cricket too.

Each year, we run a robust indoor winter training programme from January to March where we prepare our players for the season focusing on batting, bowling and fielding skills.

The league/cup season starts during April and goes on till July, with some semi finals & finals in August. Each age group trains on a specific evening at the club; U10s & U11s train on Mondays, U12s & U13s on Fridays and U14s & U15s on Thursdays and the age groups above 15 train with adults on Tuesday evenings, all at 6pm.
We have ECB qualified coaches (Level 2 and 2.5s) supported by adult team players and dedicated parents who help run our youth set up. We are always looking for parents who would be keen to help, so if you are one of those please contact me.

We are a diverse club and welcome everyone to be part of this thriving and successful set up. If your son is interested in joining our club, please contact me on
