You can either contact Jan by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or simply turn up for one of our training nights, to see if cricket is for you – no obligation – we are happy for you to give it a try.
New players are always welcome, no matter how experienced you are. We have a range of abilities from complete beginners to those that have played just a bit! We are a fun and friendly team, who are still learning from each other, and enjoying those summer afternoons of cricket in the pleasant surroundings of the Golden Hill Sports ground.
Matches are on Sundays with various start times, both home and away, and we provide teas for weekend home matches. We also have the occasional mid-week match on our Wednesday training night.
Our annual subs are set at £35 each per season, which covers your registration and club insurances. If you have ordered a shirt please add £10 to your subs (£45 total). You can pay by BACS to Acc 02926191 Sort code 30-00-01 with the reference IMW3 and your surname. Cheques are payable to Golden Hill Sports Ltd. Click here to complete a registration form.
Please let the Treasurer know when you have paid your subs.
New for 2017 season we will be wearing smart coloured T20 short sleeved shirts with our names on the back. For the moment we will still have our white cricket trousers, but the aim is to change to a full coloured kit later in the year. We will have a couple of spare coloured shirts to lend out to any new players.
In the summer of 2011, Golden Hill Cricket Club formed a new Ladies team and 2 Girls teams for U13 and U15 players. The girls did very well for the first couple of years, with some being selected for county teams.
The ladies started playing matches in the Gloucestershire Women’s T20 Development League in 2011, and changed to playing in the Women’s T20 Competitive League in 2013. This league covers an area from Bristol up to Hereford.
