Party in the Park 2008
Saturday 13th September
Party in the Park is a a community day for both young and old to enjoy. The event, which was held for the first time last year, incoporates:
- Live music
- Games
- Demonstrations
- Plant and craft stalls
- 5 a side football tournament
- Tug of war.
This year we are planning to build upon the success of last year's event and to do this we are hoping to enlist the help of everyone connected with the club in any of the following ways....
- Advertise in our program - We are looking for businesses that would be prepared to take out advertising space in the program for the event. This would provide a great opportunity for local shops and businesses to become part of the Golden Hill Community. The advertising costs are as follows:
- Quarter Page = £45
- Half Page = £90
- Full Page = £180
- Promoting the event - We would be grateful if you could arrange to display flyers promoting the event in your window and in local shops, schools, notice boards etc.
- Program sales (mid August 2008) – we will be distributing approximately 3,000 programs in the neighbourhood. We will be setting up teams to do this consisting of a team leader supported by team members who sell the programs in their area and we need volunteers for both.
- Contributions to stalls - If you are able to make a contribution to be used at our Bottle Stall (not just alcohol), Cake Stall, Toy Stall, Plant Stall or Raffle it would be very much appreciated.
