YMCA 2nd XI v Bishopston 2nd XI
A tremendous innings by Steve Buckland (91*) guided YM's Second Eleven to victory on Saturday over top-of-the-table Bishopston, who were previously undefeated this season.

Set a target of 218 to win, YM looked to be struggling at 36/3 in the twelfth over. A 102-run partnership between Buckland and Simon White (42) got YMCA into a position of needing 78 off the last ten overs. Thanks to support from Jhanger Khan (16) and Razi Ahmed (14*), Buckland was able to accelerate his innings and get YMCA to the target with just one ball to spare.

Long Ashton 1st XI v YMCA 1st XI
YM's only defeat of the weekend came at Long Ashton, where the home side posted 192/6 off their 45 overs. At 110/1 off 26 overs, John Colley's side looked to have victory in sight. Despite another impressive innings from wicket-keeper, Steve Donoghue (69), the 1sts fell 14 runs short of the target and suffered their first defeat since May.

YMCA 3rd XI v Lodway 2nd XI
There were no such problems for the 3rd XI who, after posting a total of 198/7, dismissed Lodway 2nds for just 131. Gareth Rees (39) top-scored with the bat and Ammar Shah (5/35) achieved his first five-wicket haul for the club.

Bitton 3rd XI v YMCA 4th XI
The Fourths came up against the weakest opposition they'd played against this season and recorded a comfortable eight wicket win. Richard Hughes scored 43* before having to retire hurt after top-edging a ball onto his forehead.
