YMCA 2nd XI v Cleeve 2nd XI
On a day when thousands of people from Bristol had made the trip to Wembley to watch the Championship play-off final, life long Bristol City fan Phil Dowle made the right decision to stay in Bristol and play a big part in the Second Team's crushing win over Cleeve. It took just 26 overs for YM's attack to bowl Cleeve out, with Dowle finishing with figures of 3/26. In reply, it took even less time for Keith Milsom's side to knock off the runs thanks to a rapid 50 from Martin Jones on his return to Golden Hill from Durham University.
Cleeve 1st XI v YMCA 1st XI
At First Team level in was a different story as Cleeve, who are yet to lose a match this season, won by two wickets. James Steven (38) continued his resurgence and some quick late order runs from John Colley (31) enabled the Firsts to post a competitive score of 176. However, this was not enough as Cleeve reached the target with 13 balls to spare. Tim Lush (4/54) enjoyed a successful return to the First Team, whilst John Colley continued his consistency with the ball.

YMCA 3rd XI v Frampton Cotterell 2nd XI
Golden Hill Sports' Chairman, Chris Drew, demonstrated some excellent 'jug evasion' skills, as he top scored 49* in the 3rd XI's total of 204/8. Andrew Spicer (5/13) continued his outstanding start to the season, having now claimed 14 wickets in the space of three matches for the Third Eleven. Spicer, who was filling in as captain for the day, was well supported by Bilal Shinawari (3/13), as the Thirds dismissed Frampton Cotterell for just 76 and recorded an emphatic 128 run victory.
St Mary Redcliffe 3rd XI v YMCA 4th XI
After a narrow defeat to Bitton last weekend, the 4th XI bounced back with a 32 run win over St Mary Redcliffe under the captaincy of Chris Weeks. Playing his first senior game for YMCA, 13-year old Michael Ball scored an outstanding 59, whilst some exciting batting from Tanveer Shah (45) took YMCA to an imposing total of 215/7. This was too much for St Mary Redcliffe to chase down, as Chris Watts (4/68) continued his flourishing season with the ball.
