News: ActionForce is a big success (07/04/08)
Golden Hill was a busy place yesterday as members and friends of the club helped get the ground into shape for the forthcoming cricket season.....
The day included a general tidy up of the ground and carpark... the shed was completely cleared out and tidied... the kit room was reorganised with cricket kit allocated to appropriate team bags and more room assigned for football kit and equipment... the kitchen was cleaned, tidied and equipped with new crockery... work began on repairing the cricket net... and the refurbishment work to the mens toilets continued.
In addition, the photographs and other memorabilia in the function room were taken down in preparation for the drywall pastering work that is set to start in the next couple of weeks. It is hoped that this will make a significant improvement to the look and feel of the room.
