| Ben - could teach his Dad a thing or two!! |
New records show that Ben Milsom managed to do what his dad, Keith, was unable to achieve on four occasions, namely to go beyond the infamously 'nervous nineties' and reach three figures for the YMCA in a league match.
The stylish right-hander scored one of the club's most memorable innings in modern times when he scored an unbeaten 124 against Bitton last season. And, as the newly published 1st XI league records show, Ben has leapfrogged his record run-scoring father to claim second spot in the table of the top ten highest league scores.

The latest statistics, compiled by Shaun Parker and Alex White, are now available on-line and show that Simon White's outfit benefited from Milsom's blistering form as the team reached the 1st XI's highest ever league total, a mammoth score of 243 for 7.
Other records of note include the news that Keith Milsom required only 212 runs at the beginning of the season to reach an amazing 10,000 1st XI league runs, James Chidgey took his record tally of wickets to 442 and the team equalled the 5th highest team score when they reached 218 (for 4) against University Staff.
