Party in the Park
Saturday 11th September – Midday onwards
Party in the Park is now a well established community event which brings together over 3,500 members of our local community (from mainly Henleaze, Westbury, Bishopston and Horfield areas) for a fun filled afternoon and evening of entertainment in a “village fete style”. This year’s event is promising to be bigger and better than ever!
It is a community event for all ages with games, rides, activities, live music, barbeque, refreshments and numerous stalls ranging from cakes, toys and crafts providing entertainment and fun for all.
It is also an opportunity for business to become involved with the community through:

Activities (subject to change):
- Starts at midday and closes around 7:30
- Live music – music schedule to be issued with 6:30 to 7:30 being party hour!
- Demonstrations – Martial Arts, Pipe Band
- Plant, Cake and craft stalls
- Good quality clothes and Toy Stall
- Teddy Bears Picnic 12 – 2pm
- Fancy Dress 2pm
- Under 11’s – 5 a side football tournament
- Gladiator Duel, Bouncy Castles, Big Slide, Rodeo Bull, Bungee Run, Hoopla, Obstacle courses and lots more
- Food and Drink
- Raffle
- Sky Sports – Premiership games!
- And lots more
Golden Hill Sports Ground is situated in Wimbledon Road (just off Kellaway Avenue) and with a pedestrian entry point at the top of Henleaze Park Drive. Click here to go to the Ground Location page. Please note that no car parking will be available, so please come to the ground by foot. Unfortunately due to safety reasons dogs are also not allowed at this event.
This year entry is paid on the gate and the programmes do not represent a ticket entry. The price is £2 per adult and 50p per child.
